Season 1 covers the first 30 chapters of the book “Wool” – the book has 82 chapters. The fans on the floor spin in the wrong direction in various episodes, in terms of the orientation of the blades.

When I happened to scroll through IMDB and found SILO, I was immediately intrigued. I see somewhat mixed opinions and can relate to some of them, here is my take on the first season.
It is not an adaptation in the sense that it follows the plot
The dystopian genre offers a unique psychological perspective on human nature in hypothetical scenarios. My love for the trilogy was solidified because Hughes managed to develop Orwellian ideas in a hypothetical scenario relevant to the modern world. Mapping the development of the human psyche in dystopian scenarios is a challenging task. I think Hughes did a wonderful job, SILO captures most of these aspects in a refreshing way.
The acting of the main characters is phenomenal
It is based on the books, but of course has to adapt to the viewers in a fast-paced world. Nevertheless, the series manages to capture the atmosphere of a society living in a silo. In contrast to the shallow storytelling of other series, «SILO» offers a wonderful mix of character development and atmospheric focus. The only problem I have with the series is the lack of atmospheric development.

They spend a lot of time chasing and catching Juliettte. They lack an atmospheric development of the silo as a society. Of course, it has to appeal to an audience that will absorb it.
